About Us

Adam and Kristy Elder started Drummer Creek Catering out of a desire to share our love of food and fellowship with others.  We believe food is a way to connect and bring people together and love the opportunity to provide that service to others. 

Adam, in healthcare management by trade, began the hobby of smoking meat about 10 years ago.  His hobby took off and the smokers got bigger and bigger as requests for us to cater events did too.  Adam enjoys the traditional smoking process as well as taking food that are not traditionally "smoked" and adding a new flavor to them.  

Kristy, a registered nurse by trade, has always loved cooking and comfort foods and gathering with family at meals.  She is known for coming up with a recipe idea and making it over and over, changing things each time until it is perfect.  She enjoys making delicious, comforting food "pretty"  while still maintaining that relaxing feel that food should bring when you share it with others. 

Adam and Kristy will celebrate 14 years of marriage this year and have 2 boys, Lane and Landon.  We love working together and combining our talents and styles to provide great tasting food.
